May 27, A fundraising run in support of Boyne River Keepers and the building of a dock at Ryall Park. Race participants can volunteer the day before to set up. On race day, volunteer opportunities include marshalling, water stations, assisting at the finish line and others.
ASAP Communities is Bloom needs some welding done for a project set to go July 1.
June 20 - Boyne Regional Library Summer Reading Kick-Off. A free event in Ryall Park for school aged kids and their families.
Volunteers are needed from 2-4 to set up tables, craft stations, games, and other activities.
From 5-7 volunteers will be needed to help at the stations, stay for one hour or two and have fun with the kids and families.
Anyone willing to help clean up from 7-8 will be greatly appreciated.
Saturday mornings in July and August, instructors are needed to teach water safety to children with special needs at the Carman Pool. A fun way to make a real difference in a child's life. No instructional experience necessary.

December 19-21, Register to help set up, collect donations, pack hampers, deliver hampers, or clean up the hall.
December 24, Volunteers are needed to do food prep as well as setting up tables and chairs.
December 25, Table hosts are needed as well as clean up people.
Putting on a fair is a huge undertaking. The Dufferin Agriculture Society board of 20 cannot do it all. Everything that happens at the fair is dependent on help. Consider giving some time before, after or during the fair to help make this year's post pandemic fair the best ever!
WEDNESDAY EVENING - volunteers are needed to help set up from 5pm-7pm
SATURDAY volunteers needed to help with take down from 4pm-5pm
Volunteers are required to run the petting zoo, have fun with cute animals and the littles who come to visit! One or two people per shift, sign up with a friend. 16 years of age or over preferred, however exception may be made for those over 14 provided a parent makes contact.
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY - Daytime shifts, 9am-6pm Evenings 6pm-9pm
SATURDAY shifts from 9am-4pm
Would you like to volunteer but also want to enjoy the fair with visiting family? The DAS building needs to be cleaned up, set up and then cleaned up again after the fair.
WEDNESDAY, July 5 - Adults and older youth needed for a Work Bee to prepare the hall, 7 pm-9pm
WEDNESDAY, July 12 - An opportunity for youth grade 5 and up, setting up exhibits for judging and viewing, 9am-4pm Lunch will be provided.
BAKING NEEDED, cookies and desserts needed
SATURDAY, July 15 - Youth and Adults needed for Take Down and returning exhibits, 6:30pm-9pm
A dusty job, but someone's got to do it! And for those wanting to enjoy the whole fair, it's opportunity to help before the fair! The dressing rooms on the stage need to be cleaned up after storage. Not a big job, just dusty.

Here's something for the teens or anyone who has ever wanted to have fun incognito! Mascots and guides are needed to bring some extra fun. Costumes are warn in one hour shifts. Sign up alone, or as a pair to work together.

How about face painting? Creating flowers and butterflies on cheeks, or thrill a little one by transforming them in to a cat or Spiderman!

SATURDAY AFTERNOON During the demo derby, help is needed to help keep things running. This is not an opportunity for youth. But how cool would it be for kids to know their Dad is out there in the pits?! Saturday afternoon approximately 12-5.
