JOIN THE CLUB

Six working groups committed to improving life in Carman. Areas covered by these working groups include housing, food security, emotional health, transportation, education and employment, and recreation and leisure. 

A service group for women. Part of Kin Canada, Kinettes fundraise to donate to our community and volunteer for events held by other groups.

  A group dedicated to preserve and promote awareness of local heritage.  Currently, the group is working to install monuments or signage at abandoned burial sites, and researching notable people from our past. There are too many projects to list here, click for more information.

Paint the town purple in 2023 with this group dedicated to the beautification of Carman! CIB meetings allow for discussion and idea sharing to decide projects to improve Carman’s public spaces.  Spring clean up, planting and caring for our public spaces always need volunteers.

Fun and educational programming for children and caregivers. Board members needed to plan events. 

 AGM held in February.

A not for profit organization providing an invaluable service to our community. Board members are needed to plan fundraisers to keep the Handi-Van on the road. 

 AGM is April 20, 2023.

Formed in 1904, the Carman Health Auxiliary works for the benefit of patients and staff at the Carman Hospital and Boyne Lodge. the group holds fundraisers to purchase equipment not covered by the government.

CCHC Board is looking for directors.  The board oversees the services of Carman Community Health Centre and participates in planning for health service needs in Carman and area. Board members serve for a three year term. More info can be found at www.carmanhealth.ca. 

The Transportation working group of Carman Wellness Connections is looking to add board members.  If you have an interest in improving and developing local transportation, please consider joining this group.  The board meets 6-8 times per year.
